Last year, I spent New Year's Eve with my best friend at a flamenco performance at The Cherry Lane Theatre, just down the street from my old apartment in the West Village, and I have to tell you, it was a-mazing!
I'm so excited that Soledad Barrio and Noche Flamenca is back in New York from December 31st to January 6th at Joe's Pub. It's such a fun, sexy show. I adore anything Spanish, but the Spanish guitar and that dancing, whew! it's fueled with so much passion, it's hard not to get caught up in the rapture.
So, if you're in town and you feel like venturing out, this spicy performance is a great way to kick start the evening on a fancy foot.

It's no secret French women put as much effort into their chic ensembles as they do their pretty undergarments. For them, there's no excuse for letting yourself go, no matter how old you are. The same goes for divorcèes, the single ladies, or the hitched. Isn't this the very reason we both love and envy Parisian women?
So, in my effort to take better care of myself and feel a little foxy this upcoming year, I first turn to lingerie since my lingerie drawer has been looking a bit sad these days. I'm making it a little mission of mine to revive its spirits and freshen things up a la Parisienne.
Princesse Tam Tam has been one of my favorite lingerie brands since this doll introduced it to me years ago, but it's been impossible to find here in the States. Now, ASOS carries a great collection of the Parisian brand and the pieces are just so adorable. Isn't it the perfect balance of simple and sexy?
